Robin Worthley
Robin Worthley brings over 25 years of bartending experience and a deep respect for craft to his role as Bar Supervisor at Aiona. His career began in Oakland and has taken him through a wide range of bar environments, from high-volume corporate settings to more refined cocktail programs, ultimately shaping a style rooted in precision, consistency, and genuine hospitality.
After early years spent developing his skills across various concepts, Robin found his stride in San Jose, where he began to focus more intentionally on craft cocktails. A pivotal moment in his career came when he was introduced to working with fresh ingredients and house-made syrups, shifting his perspective on what bartending could be. That experience sparked a lasting appreciation for thoughtful preparation and the ability to create something memorable for each guest.
In 2018, Robin relocated to the Sacramento area, where he spent several years behind the bar at Shangri-La in Fair Oaks, followed by time at Mulvaney’s B&L. Across each role, he has built a reputation for his attention to detail, strong sense of organization, and calm, positive presence in fast-paced environments.
At Aiona, Robin approaches the bar with a focus on both craft and atmosphere. He believes that guests should feel comfortable, well cared for, and excited to return. Behind the scenes, he values clear communication and a team-first mindset, understanding that strong collaboration is what allows service to feel seamless.
Outside of the restaurant, Robin enjoys attending small, independent music festivals, often centered around house music and vinyl culture. For him, these gatherings offer a sense of connection and community that mirrors what he values most in hospitality.
