Aiona is a live-fire Mediterranean restaurant in Downtown Sacramento inspired by the culinary traditions of Italy, Greece, Spain, North Africa and the broader Mediterranean. At the heart of our kitchen is a Spanish Mibrasa grill, where our culinary team cooks over wood and charcoal, bringing seasonal ingredients to life over an open fire.
Aiona is located at 1213 K Street, at the corner of 13th and K Streets in Downtown Sacramento, in the heart of the city's performing arts and entertainment district.
Aiona serves lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Dinner is served Monday through Saturday, and Sunday service runs from 5-8 PM. Yes. Aiona offers a dedicated Happy Hour menu with food, cocktails and wine in our bar and lounge Monday through Friday and during Sunday service. Happy Hour offerings are available in the bar and lounge only.
Join us Sundays from 5–8 PM for live music, a rotating Sunday Roast prix fixe menu and Happy Hour throughout the evening. Happy Hour is available in our bar and lounge only.

Reservations are recommended, especially for dinner, weekends, performance nights and special events. Walk-ins are welcome based on availability. You may request a preferred seating area when reserving, and we'll do our best to accommodate it; specific tables cannot be guaranteed.
To secure a reservation for eight or more guests, Aiona requires a credit card on file. If the entire party cancels within 48 hours of the reservation or does not arrive, the card on file will be charged $25 per person.
Aiona offers a 15-minute grace period for reservations. If you're running late, please contact the restaurant. If you are more than 15 minutes late for your reservation, seating will be subject to availability.
Yes. We welcome larger groups in the restaurant, subject to availability, and offer private and semi-private options for gatherings that call for a dedicated space or customized experience.
Aiona does not have a formal dress code. Guests join us for everything from weekday lunch and Happy Hour to date nights, celebrations and evenings at the theater. Come as you are.
Yes. Children are welcome during all services. We do not have a dedicated children's menu, but our Sunday Roast offers three courses for $35 for children under 12.
Yes. Guests are welcome to bring desserts from a preferred bakery. A $6 per-person dessert service fee applies.
We believe the people who take care of you deserve to be taken care of, too. A 5% service charge helps us offer our team benefits including medical, dental and vision coverage. This charge is separate from gratuity. Tipping is optional and goes directly to your server.
Yes. We offer vegetarian selections, and some dishes can be modified for vegan guests. With advance planning and clear communication, our kitchen can accommodate many common food allergies and dietary restrictions, including gluten-free requests. Please tell us about allergies when making your reservation and remind your server when ordering. For uncommon or complex allergies, advance notice gives our culinary team more time to plan appropriate options.
Our wine program, curated by Beverage Director and Sommelier Elizabeth-Rose Mandalou, explores classic and lesser-known regions with an emphasis on wines that complement our Mediterranean menu.

Guests may bring wines that are not represented on Aiona's wine list. Corkage is $30 per 750 mL bottle, with a maximum of three outside bottles per table. We waive one corkage fee for each bottle purchased from our wine list, up to three waivers.
The closest self-parking garage is at 900 13th Street, between J and K Streets, about half a block from Aiona. Street parking may also be available. Valet parking is offered during dinner service beginning at 5 PM for $15 per car. Parking availability can vary on downtown event nights.
