Candice Mora
Candice Mora brings a lifelong connection to hospitality and a deep passion for wine to her role as Director of Special Events at Aiona. Raised in the restaurant world, she began working at her family’s French fine dining restaurant, Boulevard Bistro, at a young age, gaining experience across both the kitchen and front of house before stepping into management.
Her early exposure to service evolved into a focused pursuit of wine education through the Court of Master Sommeliers, where she has completed her Introductory Sommelier level and is currently working toward her Certified Sommelier certification. A defining moment in her journey came when she was given the opportunity to lead a wine tasting service, an experience that sparked a lasting curiosity for wine, its connection to food, and its ability to elevate the guest experience.
In 2019, Candice and her husband founded Christopher Cellars, where she has been closely involved in the winemaking process and in shaping wines that reflect both place and personal story. Her background allows her to seamlessly bridge service and wine, bringing depth and intention to every aspect of the dining room.
At Aiona, Candice approaches hospitality as something deeply felt. She believes a great dining experience allows guests to step into another world, to leave everything else behind and feel fully present. Known for her intuitive style of service, she reads each table with care, tailoring every detail so the experience feels personal, thoughtful, and genuine.
As a leader, she is equally committed to the team behind the experience. Candice fosters a culture rooted in alignment, pride, and support, where every member understands their role in creating something meaningful for the guest. She believes that when a team is truly unified in that purpose, service becomes seamless, natural, and deeply impactful.
Outside of the restaurant, Candice has a deep love for travel, having explored much of the world from a young age. While family life currently centers around her children’s activities, she looks forward to sharing that same sense of exploration with them in the years to come.
